Andrei Ryabov (guitar) – In the annual critic’s
poll by Jazz Federation, Andrei Ryabov was voted Russia’s
# 1 Jazz Guitarist From 1989 to 1992. He performed at many international
jazz festivals around the world, recorded many albums as a leader
and sideman for various labels. Since 1992 he lives in U.S. In 1996,
among other jazz guitar greats he participated in the “Tal
Farlow Tribute” concert at the Merkin Concert Hall, where
“ Attila Zoller was joined by a marvelously inventive Russian
guitarist, Andrei Ryabov.”- San Francisco Examiner. Since
1998, he is a member of Richie Cole Alto Madness Orchestra with
whom he recorded few albums, as well as tour and concerts. In 2003,
he was a special guest on BET TV Studio Jams with famous fusion
group “Yellowjackets”. Andrei Ryabov has played with
many of the world’s finest musicians, Dave Brubeck, Jim Hall,
Attila Zoller, Richie Cole, Hubert Laws, Gene Bertoncini, Joe Pass,
etc.
Misha Tsiganov (piano) - prise-winner in All-Russia
Jazz Competition, graduated Mussorgski College of Music (St.Petersburg).
1991- was invited by Gary Burtin to study in Berklee College of
Music. 1999-2002-working as a regular pianist for Bill Cosby`s "Little
Bill Show". 2000- recorded an albom "Taken By Surprise"
with Norman Hedman`s Tropique. 2003- recorded an albom "Out
Of Many Comes The One" with Chico Freeman. 2003- recorded an
albom "Tsiganov Brothers" (collaboration with his brother
Alexei Tsiganov) 2004- recorded an albom "NGFOOT" with
Michael Brecker, Randy Brecker and Dave Valentine. Also Misha Tsiganov
performed and recorded with: Clark Terry, Wynton Marsalis, Joe Chambers,
Gary Bartz, Richie Cole, Ray Vega, Vincent Herring, Craig Handy,
Johnny Colon, Ira Coleman, Antonio Sanchez etc. --
Dmitri Kolesnik (bass) - started his carrier in
Russia playing with leading jazz bands of
Saint-Petersburg and Moscow and recording several albums on Melodia
label. His name is recognized in "Jazz. XX Century. First Russian
Encyclopedia"
In New York he was a student of Ron Carter and received Master of
Arts Degree. Hal Leonard Corporation published his book "The
Ron Carter Collection".
He recorded an original music album: Dmitri Kolesnik: "Blues
For Dad" on Boheme Music label, also with Bill Ware: "Vibes
4"on Knitting Factory Records and with Andrei Kondakov:
"Kind Of Optimistic"on Boheme Music label.
He performed with American jazz stars at International Jazz Festivals
in Saint-Petersburg and Moscow; with Bill Ware's "Vibes"
during Knitting Factory 15th Anniversary European Tour; with Richie
Cole's Alto Madness Orchestra; appeared on TV on BET channel with
Bill Ware's "Vibes" and on Russian Radio in New York with
his original music.

“… his sound is warm and big, and his choice of notes
is truly inspirational.
His playing…makes his presence on the New York jazz scene
necessary.
His compositions also merit close attention.”
